Brontë Microficton Project: I’m Just Going To Write Because I Cannot Help It (Again)

Calling all creative writers and Brontë fans. It’s no secret I haven’t been in the best of health recently. However I recently discovered a Twitter account which features microfiction which has given me a bit of motivation. I’m putting together a microfiction project and I’d love some submissions from others to join my “Ode to Charlotte.”  It will feature on my blog and the project is called “I’m just going to write because I cannot help it.”

What’s the catch? I’m looking for 30 word stories. Yes, 30 words.

The only rules are that it has to be 30 words and in some way connected to the Brontës or your experience of them. I will post them on my blog.
If you’re interested then please email your story to brontebabe@outlook.com. I will see how many I have at the end of the month. Please share with anyone you think would be interested 😃. Stay safe and well all and thank you very much for your good wishes.

In Loving Memory of Bob the Bichon (2007-2019)

A lover of life, the Brontës, and Haworth who knows that I’m just going to write because I can’t help it.

Thanks for reading. Find me on twitter @BronteBabeBlog where I tweet about books, the Brontës, and animal rights, or on my Brontë Babe Blog Facebook page. Look me up on Goodreads too. I also have a side project where I blog about my love of Classic Crime Fiction over at The Classic Crime Chonicle. I’d love it if you joined me there.

I’d also love it if you stopped by The Journal of Juvenilia Studies where you can read my essay, “Autobiography, Wish-Fulfilment, and Juvenilia. The ‘Fractured Self’ in Charlotte Brontë’s Paracosmic Counterworld”.
